The Art of
Curated Living

Four times a year in Austin, we set a room and take care of the evening — so the people who move, arrange, pour and style this city’s houses can simply be in it.

The Collective

Not a launch party.
A standing invitation.

Four times a year the Collective puts a room together in Austin and fills it with the people behind the work — the ones who pour, cook, arrange, move, unpack and style the houses this city lives in.

01

Four evenings a year

Once a quarter in Austin. A different room, a different table — assembled from the ground up each time. Nothing carries over but the standard.

02

Built by its members

A bar, a kitchen, a floral studio, a garden. Not vendors on a checklist — the founding members, and the reason the room feels finished before anyone walks in.

03

Run by two people

Brittany Moore and John Bazina founded the Collective and build every gathering themselves. It is theirs, equally, and it is not a side project.

A linen-draped bedroom with a tufted headboard, a woven pendant and a washed-blue coverlet.
A marble bathroom with a freestanding tub, a zellige-tiled shower and a fluted white-oak vanity.
An apron-front farmhouse sink under a window, with an aged-brass tap and stoneware on the counter.
A lit candle and a stack of books on a reclaimed-wood table, with two linen armchairs and a marble fireplace behind.
Photographs of the houses, not of the evenings.

Founding members

The people who make it possible.

The Collective is built on a founding group of 10 businesses. These are the first of them, and the rest are announced as they join.

  • New Native GardensPotted plants curated to the house, not to the order sheet.
  • The floristEvery arrangement in the room, every quarter — currently carried at her own cost.

Joining

If you make something that belongs in a room like this, say so when you register and we will be in touch.

The founders

Two people, every quarter.

The Makers

The evening is made by hand.

A bar, a kitchen and a floral studio build this room every quarter. Brock is filming all three at the September gathering — names land here once they are confirmed.

The Bar

The drinks for the evening, poured on site — the same bar team each quarter.

The Kitchen

A chef we return to each quarter, cooking for the room rather than catering it.

The Florals

Arrangements designed for the house we are in that night — nothing generic, nothing rented.

The Film

Brock is filming the September gathering, with each trade on camera about the work they do.

A made bed in linen and striped ticking with a dark velvet bolster, lit by a brass swing-arm sconce.
